About Event

Magnovite is the annual techno-cultural fest of the Faculty of engineering, Christ University, Bengaluru is to be held on 26th and 27th February 2016. Magnovite 2016 aims at encouraging scientific thinking, innovation, and knowledge of technology among the masses.
The theme for this year’s Magnovite is SIFAR. Sifar means zero and zero is not just a number, but also stands as a symbol universally recognized. Zero plays a central role as a place holder in the number system. It actually means minimalism which strikes to the concept of concentrating on quality and not quantity. Zero finds its roots in India and it was essential in the formation of calculus and other theorems.
